I've been a part of Gravy for the Brain for possibly a year now. How time flies. The resources that are available are so much that I'm unsure if I'll ever get through all of it, despite my best efforts. From a customised VO career planner, to a 5000+ hour webinar library featuring top voice actors, agents, directors and producers all appearing as guests, I'm not sure what more you could possibly ask for. They have a store that is discounted for members, allowing below market rate access to equipment for a starting voiceover (that can serve for many years), and 1 2 1 mentoring sessions. Oh, did I mention they also have a forum and go out of their way to give feedback on every query, sample read, demo reel and studio test? All of that with a cheery smile, uplifting encouragement and utmost professionalism. Not too bad, eh?
Really personal and tailored advice given. Peter and Hugh are both extremely supportive, encouraging and direct (which let’s be honest is just as important as the praise!). The site itself has so much valuable information, and the access to their feedback on audio set up, auditions, business set up, demo reels, audio problems and fixes, equipment and really anything you can worry about, is truly an asset to anyone starting out in the VO business, looking to improve their game and gain and also to feel part of a community in what can be a very solo type of work!

Absolutely the best move you could make if you want to become a VO talent. There is so much to learn that it can seem very overwhelming at first and you don't know where to start, but the structure and lessons in Gravy for the Brain make it easier.
From the beginning every requirement for help and support was met, and in some cases exceeded. I had a minor issue registering to begin with, and the onine support team were in touch as soon as I emailed in to explain the problem which was solved immediately. The courses are higly informative and the content delivered at the speed and in the style that I find easy to absorb and remember, unlike some which are painfully drab or theme park level intense! Highly recommended all round.

This is not only "one-stop-info-shopping" for VO's looking to learn and network, but the quality of content, instruction, and the way it's laid out on the site is really in line with what it should be for the learning process. Some companies know how to market and sell, but fall short on delivering actual value. This is not that company. As someone who struggles with social anxiety I really wrestled with the concept of working as a voice-over, but after attending some online social events I slowly found myself coming out of my shell a bit more. All the other members were very nice and patient with me and even encouraged me to try and speak more. The service and the resources available are all top tier!

GFTB is the best! Bev and Graham rock! It's an amazing value for the money, the resources are practically unlimited, and I can go at my own pace. The instructors are phenomenal and they are great at relationship-building with students - I've learned so much and look forward to learning more.
I recently signed up for GFTB after looking extensively at other sites and asking people in the business for advice. I am very happy I joined. The courses are well done, the discussion forum is fantastic and there are endless tools that are included which will help me establish and run my VO business. Member since 2019 This was the single best decision I have made since I decided to try out voice over work. My earlier training was spotty and incomplete and didnt take into account my accent. Here I found out what I didnt know, what I needed to improve, and how to do it. Each mentor contributes to your education in different ways. Monthly mentoring sessions give instant feedback on auditions and general information, there's a forum to get honest feedback on auditions and demos. I am still learning, but I have been giving consistently decent auditions and felt.competent to do work in the general market for some time now.
If you are 1-30 years into voice acting, join this site now. Don't argue with yourself. Skip 3 of the 40 meals you eat out in a month, and submerge yourself in the healing hot springs of information they have available to grow your business and improve your craft. Absolutely 12/10 recommend.

When I first started in Voiceover I was all over the internet soaking up advice but there was alot of conflicting information. I found GFTB and decided to focus my money on their website and have been immensely satisfied! They really have it all for a reasonable monthly fee. Their mentors get back to you so quickly and have been invaluable as I navigate this world of VO.

There is a wealth of resources for you to take advantage of, at any point in the VO process! This team will give you advice, work with your audio, even help produce a professional demo! The webinars are always accessible and range from technical, to performance, to industry trends to be aware of! If you're feeling like this is a waste of money - you're not using the site to its fullest potential. And as far as the costs of making investments in the VO world - this is next to nothing. INVEST IN YOURSELF!
For too long I have searched for a service like this, and finally I have found it. For those unaware and uninitiated few the act of pouring gravy into your brain is an age old healing tradition used in select parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is relatively painless but an extremely strange feeling as the warm gloop cascades into your ear holes. I already feel 10 years younger! It's 5 sausages from me!

GFTB is FABULOUS! Great for Actors adding to their tool belt! During lockdown it has taught me to do the job of so many people, EDITOR, DIRECTOR (of my own work), STUDIO ENGINEER etc... A good voice is about 10% of what you need to be a voice actor. Gravy for the Brain provide subscription based online training and services to address the other 90%. The courses are in-depth, well paced and cover everything you need to know from the basics to how to run the business side. Online mentoring provides feedback on members' work from industry professionals as well as advice in all the key areas of the profession. It's not cheap, but then good quality advice and training from friendly, experienced professionals isn't. What it is, is great value for money for anyone considering a career as a voice actor.
